At MYP, we are here to help you connect, share knowledge & progress by organising exciting monthly meet ups, from fun networking gatherings, black tie events to knowledge sharing seminars.

 

With over 100 members from a wide range of industries; from legal and finance to creative and tech, MYP creates the opportunity for members to meet new people and build and foster relationships for the future. We're proud to support any aspiring or upcoming professional - whether you're a familiar face or completely new to town, there's a place for you at MYP.

 

The incredible MYP events are organised by a passionate team of volunteer directors who form the board of MYP Networking Limited.

 

We would love to welcome new faces, skills and expertise to the board in the coming months. If you are interested or know someone that is, we would love to hear from you!

 

We are looking for people who enjoy attending MYP events, are passionate about promoting MYP across their own network and enthusiastic about contributing towards a fantastic growing network. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive network and we actively encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, characteristics, industries and experiences.

 

We would love to hear from anyone who believes they can contribute to the team. We are also reaching out directly for anyone who has experience and knowledge in the following areas:

 

• Corporate Law

• Accountancy

• Business Leadership/Operations

• Social Media and Content Creation

• Acquiring Sponsorship

 

We need team members to:

• Come along to our events - We need people to be at our events, handling the guest list and logistics and – on occasion – serving champagne!

• Enjoy getting to know people - We’d love you to get involved with making sure that people who attend our events are welcomed and are appropriately introduced to like-minded people.

​

• Lead on event planning - Got a fierce idea? Great, we need people to bring new events to the table and run and launch them.

​

• Attend Board meetings - Great plans don’t come together without a little conflab. We meet once a month on Teams, and aim to meet in person quarterly.

​

• Be available and fairly flexible - Whilst some directors contribute differently, and expectations will depend on upcoming events, we expect that team members will contribute well in the group! – that being said, we’re all busy and have competing commitments, and work together to make sure that things are balanced nicely.

​

• Commit to being a director of MYP Networking Limited – it might be worth checking your workplace policy on the same!

 

Successful directors will help the company drive towards its objectives of growth of membership, running fantastic events and facilitating networking across Merseyside. In return, you’ll join a team of friendly upcoming professionals, be able to attend most of our events for free, acquire new skills and be able to collaborate with some of Liverpool’s most exciting new and well-loved events and hospitality businesses.

 

Whether you’ve got an eye for improving processes, would love the chance to drive forward a small business or you’re hot on the latest TikTok trends, if you’re keen to flex your skills on a new project in 2025, please get in touch!
